Review Policy

For authors, publishers, and other parties,

I would be happy (not to mention incredibly flattered) to receive any review requests. You can contact me by email at BookBadgerReviews@gmail.com, but first I would ask that you read through my policies thoroughly. 

I am not accepting e-books at this time.

Books I accept:
This is a young adult fiction blog, therefore any books I receive should fit that mould.  The genres for which I have the most interest include:

• High Fantasy (aka my one true love)
• Urban Fantasy
• Dystopian
• Contemporary (though I am not particularly interested in "chick-lit")
• Sci-fi
• Mystery 
• Thriller (NO horror, please)

I will accept Middle Grade fiction, though on a limited basis. (Things similar to Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, ect.)

Self-published books:
I will accept self-published books, but selectively.  Send me an email with the info for the book and I will let you know if it seems like something I would be interested in reading.

Books I will not accept:
I will not accept any of the following, because I either have no interest or they don't fit the theme of the blog.

• Non-Fiction
• Adult Fiction
• Biographies or Autobiographies
• Memoirs
• Children's books
• Erotica
• Horror
• Religious Fiction or Non-Fiction 

Reviews:
Any review that I write is completely honest, and I don't accept compensation of any kind.  In all reviews I try to be as fair as possible, and I will outline the strengths and weaknesses of the book.  Any review that I write will be posted here as well as Goodreads, and possibly Amazon.

Since my life can get pretty crazy sometimes with various projects, school work, other books I'm reading, etc. I reserve the right to turn down a book review with or without explanation.  If I choose to review a book, I will post the review whenever I have the time, though I will try my best to get it up as punctually as possible.

If you choose to contact me, please include the following:

• Book title
• A synopsis
• Book release date
• Form of the book being sent (hardcover, paperback, etc.)
• Your name
• Relation to the book (fan, author, publisher, etc.)
